Your privacy isn't a feature we add at the end — it's the floor everything else at Selira AI App stands on. This document explains, in plain English, what we collect, why we collect it, and the controls you have over it.

  1. 1. Who we are

    Selira AI App is operated by Selira Studio Ltda., registered in Portugal. References to 'we', 'us' or 'our' in this Policy mean Selira Studio Ltda. and its affiliates.

  2. 2. Scope of this Policy

    This Privacy Policy applies to your use of the Selira AI App website, mobile applications, and all related services (collectively, the 'Service').

  3. 3. Data we collect from you

    We collect the minimum information necessary to operate the Service: a unique account identifier, an optional email address, your chosen display name, and basic device metadata.

  4. 4. Information you choose to share

    Anything you send inside a chat — text, voice notes, images, preferences — is information you choose to share. It is processed only to deliver replies.

  5. 5. Automatically collected data

    We collect technical data such as your IP address, browser type, language, time zone, operating system, and the URLs you visited before and after Selira AI App.

  6. 6. Cookies and similar technologies

    We use a small number of strictly necessary cookies to keep you logged in and remember your interface preferences. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

  7. 7. Children's privacy

    Selira AI App is intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe a minor has created an account, please contact us so we can remove it.

  8. 8. How we use your data

    We use your data to operate the Service, secure your account, improve product quality, respond to support requests, and comply with applicable law.

  9. 9. Legal basis for processing

    Where the GDPR applies, our legal bases for processing are contract (to provide the Service), legitimate interest (to keep the platform safe), and consent (for any optional features).

  10. 10. Conversation memory

    To create a continuous experience, your chosen AI companion stores a memory of past conversations with you. This memory is stored encrypted, tied to your account, and never shared with other users.

  11. 11. Encryption

    Conversations are encrypted in transit using TLS 1.3 and at rest using AES-256. Encryption keys are rotated regularly and never logged.

  12. 12. No human review of chats

    We do not employ humans to read your conversations. Automated systems may flag content that violates our Terms (for example illegal material), but the underlying chat remains private to you.

  13. 13. Third-party processors

    We rely on a small number of trusted infrastructure providers (cloud hosting, payment processing, analytics) to operate the Service. Every processor is bound by a data-processing agreement consistent with this Policy.

  14. 14. Payment information

    If you choose a paid plan, your payment details are handled directly by our payment processor. We never see or store your full card number.

  15. 15. Marketing communications

    If you opt in, we may send occasional product updates by email. You can unsubscribe at any time from the link at the bottom of every message.

  16. 16. Data retention

    Account data is retained for as long as your account is active. Once you delete your account, your data is removed from production systems within thirty (30) days and from backups within ninety (90) days.

  17. 17. Your right of access

    You may request a copy of all personal data we hold about you. We will respond within thirty (30) days of a verified request.

  18. 18. Your right of rectification

    You may correct any inaccurate personal data at any time directly from your account settings or by contacting support.

  19. 19. Your right to erasure

    You may delete your account and all associated data at any time from inside the app. This action is permanent.

  20. 20. Your right to restrict processing

    You may ask us to suspend certain types of processing (for example marketing or analytics) without deleting your account.

  21. 21. Your right to data portability

    You may export your conversation history and account data in a structured, machine-readable format on request.

  22. 22. Your right to object

    You may object to any processing based on legitimate interest. We will stop unless we can show overriding legitimate grounds.

  23. 23. Rights for California residents

    If you reside in California, the CCPA grants you additional rights including the right to know which categories of personal information we collect, the right to opt out of any sale (we do not sell personal data), and the right to non-discrimination.

  24. 24. International data transfers

    Your data may be processed in countries other than the one in which you reside. Where data leaves the European Economic Area, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.

  25. 25. Security incidents

    In the unlikely event of a personal data breach that is likely to result in a risk to your rights, we will notify you and the relevant supervisory authority without undue delay and in any event within seventy-two (72) hours.

  26. 26. Account security recommendations

    We recommend you choose a long, unique password and enable two-factor authentication. We will never ask you for your password by email or chat.

  27. 27. Automated decision-making

    We do not make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you based solely on automated processing.

  28. 28. Aggregated and anonymised data

    We may produce aggregated, anonymised statistics (for example 'average session length') that cannot reasonably be linked back to you. This data may be shared publicly.

  29. 29. Links to external sites

    The Service may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites and recommend you review their policies before use.

  30. 30. Changes to this Policy

    We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the 'Last updated' date and, for material changes, notify you inside the app.

  31. 31. How to exercise your rights

    To exercise any of the rights set out in this Policy, write to us at privacy@ai-secretdesires.com. We may ask for proof of identity to protect your account.

  32. 32. Supervisory authority

    If you believe we have not handled your data correctly, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the data protection authority in your country of residence.
